Starbucks Organic Yukon Blend
As the story goes, a captain of an arctic fishing fleet approached the original owners of Starbucks and asked them to create a blend that would keep his crew happy and warm in sub-arctic temperatures. Even if this great story was true, I wasn't completely sure if I would like this particular blend. Much to my surprise I found it quite satisfying! Starbucks describes it as "Hearty and well-rounded with deep spicy notes," and I can't think of a better way to describe. Perhaps its the story that goes with it, but something about this coffee early in the morning makes the day seem more manageable, and really not all that bad. It really is a great blend, and I recommend it for breakfast with a big O'bowl of oatmeal.
